Nate Willbur, PE
Nate has 17 years of Industry Experience and is a graduate of UF. He works for Michael Baker International as a Senior Roadway Engineer in their Orlando office. He has two young children, and enjoys exercising, golf, and fishing in his spare time. Nate holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida
VICE-PRESIDENT
Sameer Ambare, PE, PMP
Sameer obtained his B.E. in Civil Engineering from Pune University, an M.S. in Civil Engineering (Structures) from Kansas State University in 2001, and his M.B.A. at the University of Florida in 2017. Sameer also received his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2017. Sameer's career started in bridge design before transitioning to project/program management.
TREASURER
Rob Best, PE
Robert Best is a Senior Engineer with 15 years of a wide range of experience, specializing in project management, study, design, and construction services in the area of land development, utilities, and transportation, including the analysis, design, and permitting of water distribution systems (WDS), wastewater collection systems (WCS), water reuse systems, and roadways.
SECRETARY
Emmanuel Marin, PE
Emmanuel was born and raised in Puerto Rico and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico. He has 9 years of experience in Highway design and currently works at Element Engineering Group as the Roadway Engineering Lead, helping grow the engineering practice in Orlando. He enjoys spending time fishing, sports, anything outdoors, and spending time with family.
PAST PRESIDENT
Christopher Frank, PE
Chris graduated from UCF and works for AtkinsRéalis as a GEC serving Florida's Turnpike Enterprise. He has over 24 years of experience in the design and construction of minor to major roadway projects. He resides in City of Winter Park with his son and wife. He enjoys travel, ride motorcycles, local breweries and wine tasting events.
STATE DIRECTOR
Eric McAra, PE
Another UCF grad, Eric works for KSM Engineering and Testing and has 18 years of experience in the Geotechnical field. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His interests include cooking, hiking, camping, being a home handyman, and attending his kids’ activities.

Ryan Blaida, PE
Ryan has over two decades of professional engineering experience. He received Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 2000. He is certified through the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES), and a LEED Accredited Professional through the USGBC.
