Sameer Ambare, PE, PMP

Sameer Ambare is a Sr. Director/ SVP at WSP USA. He has over 25 years of experience as a transportation professional, with specialization in bridge design and project/program management. He obtained his BE in Civil Engineering from Pune University, a MSCE from Kansas State university and an MBA from University of Florida. He has a Karate loving teenage daughter and a Transportation professional wife who is equally passionate about giving back to the community. In his free time, he enjoys travelling and playing sports.

VICE-PRESIDENT

Rob Best, PE

Robert Best is a Senior Engineer with 16 years of a wide range of experience, specializing in project management, study, design, and construction services in the area of land development, utilities, and transportation, including the analysis, design, and permitting of water distribution systems (WDS), wastewater collection systems (WCS), water reuse systems, and roadways.

Emmanuel Marin, PE
Visionary, Connector, Catalyst

Emmanuel was born and raised in Puerto Rico and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico. He has 10 years of experience in Highway design and currently works at AtkinsRéalis as a Roadway Engineering Lead, helping grow the engineering practice in Orlando. He enjoys spending time fishing, sports, anything outdoors, and spending time with family.

SECRETARY

Joshua Nolin, PE

Josh obtained his M.E. in Civil Engineering from Florida State University and has 15 years of experience in construction materials testing, special inspections, geotechnical laboratory testing, materials engineering, and laboratory management. He works at Terracon as Manager of Regional Services for Materials. His interests include gardening, fishing, and golf.

PAST PRESIDENT

Nate Willbur, PE

Nate has 18 years of Industry Experience and is a graduate of UF. He works for the Balmoral Group as the director of Transportation Development in their Winter Park office. He has two young children, and enjoys exercising, golf, and fishing in his spare time. Nate holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida

VP REGION III

Eric McAra, PE

A UCF grad, Eric works for KSM Engineering and Testing and has 19 years of experience in the Geotechnical field. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His interests include cooking, hiking, camping, being a home handyman, and attending his kids’ activities.

Clint Pletzer, PE

Clint Pletzer grew up in the Central Florida area, is a proud UCF Knight,. He has a passion for making Central Florida roads safer! He is the Director of Transportation at AVCON, where has work for the last 22 years, and is supported by his two incredible daughters and wonderful wife.
