NAF Academy of Engineering 2nd call for Teach-In Nov. 15th UPDATE
Here is the latest update. Really need everyone to go put your arm around that fellow engineer and have that conversation on the future of American youth. 1.5 hours is not much to ask when compared to the benefit to the student.
Spending an hour at work = same old thing
Spending an hour with a class of eager potential bright engineers = PRICELESS

Subject: Teach-In Nov. 15th UPDATE
Remember these high schoolers are not looking for a project or activity, they want to know about you, how did you get to be an Engineer, what do you do, what types of engineering are there, how do they work together, etc… Show some videos for 10 to 15 and talk for 10 to 15 and answer questions 10 to 15 and have fun. These kids want to be engineers, pass the word lets, fill in the slots, and go encourage them to follow their dream. Let's get those YELLOW blanks filled in, so the teachers can stop worrying about it. Remember the topic is a suggestion, more important that someone is there that is an Engineer than not due to the suggested topic. If you or someone you know can do 2, 45-minute classes that would be awesome.
Thank You
